Before summer even started we took full advantage of mud season and stayed in Winter Park for a weekend. Mud season is still really nice… shhh… don’t tell anyone!
My brother and all came to visit for Memorial Day. It was a last minute decision on Friday evening and we were able to get rock pile seats to the St. Louis vs. Rockies game. We LOVE cousins and cotton candy!
We kicked the summer off with a trip to see my mom in Las Vegas. It’s best to go early in the summer but still 107 degrees! Seriously! It felt cool on Lake Mead, thank goodness!
We had some reunions with friends from our baby days! Patti and Dave are back!!! They moved back to Denver from Casper, WY! No one is more thrilled than we are! And we got a day to play with the family we shared Patti with at the park. Rio and Bennett. Why do kids make you feel so old! They change so much if you don’t see them in a year!
Oh the cuteness! We had two cuties in the dance recital this year!
So, we started a Lemonade business. Come to find out they’re pretty profitable. Cute signs and cute kids help!
Annie had some friends over for a campfire birthday party! My middle is 6! 5 still seems cute and little. 6 is big girl!
We’ve been making a week-long summer trip to Winter Park for the past couple years. It’s fantastic! The girls go to Day Camp at YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch. They love camp and Jason and I get to do some maintenance around the house. And have some fun with Gracie! We had some friends come up too!
After the 4th we tackled a feat… camping! We teamed up with our friends, Christa, Brandon, Jaden and Brooke, and headed to Lake McCaunaghy. It’s windy there! The first couple of nights made us question whether we would do this again. But then on the third night we got up on skis and it went from a 1 to a 10 very quickly. Annie got up on skis too! It was only a couple seconds but I was so ecstatic for her!
Little Boo-Boo got her first haircut! The hair covered sucker is free with a paid haircut!
Just a few of our summer time shenanigans! Did I mention I don’t want them to go back to school?
