Welcome Annie Marie!

Annie Marie Clapper was born Monday, June 20th at 4:56 pm. Being two weeks early, she weighed 6 lbs 7 oz and was 19 inches long! She's a peanut! She looks like a skinny version of Lily when Lily was born. Lily was 19 inches as well, but she was 8 lbs!

Before I delivered, I had been wondering if it was possible to have the capacity to love another child as much as I love Lily. But the second Annie was in my arms, I had an immediate love... like only a mommy can have! We are so excited about our family of girls! Even Daddy loves the idea of having another Daddy's girl! Our cups runneth over!

We came home from the hospital last Wednesday which was Jason's birthday. What a birthday present! We've been adjusting to life at home which hasn't been as hard as we expected! Annie is sleeping great and quiet as can be! Lily LOVES her baby sister, but is also finding ways to turn the attention back to her when she feels she's losing it ever so slightly! Here is a video of Lily meeting her little sister!

When we were driving home from the hospital, we saw a HUGE yellow balloon floating above our house from the highway! Here are some pictures of how the best neighbors ever welcomed us home!

And the journey begins! Two kiddos under the age of two! Love it!!

Thank you for all the gifts, best wishes, emails, etc... we are so blessed to have such great friends and family!

Happy Father's Day...

Before I get into the big event of the week, I wanted to give Jason some love by posting a couple pictures from Father's Day. We went for a little drive up to the mountains so Jason could put a line in the water just to say he went fishing on Father's Day. Low and behold, he caught a fairly nice sized (or as Jason put it, HUGE) rainbow trout! Lily's excitement can only be told in pictures...

We went to bed on Father's Day thinking we had another 2 1/2 weeks before we had TWO kids, however...

Stacey Potter Photos

We had our family pictures taken a few weeks ago by Stacey Potter Photography in Boulder. She did a fantastic job! If you're in the Denver/Boulder area, I highly recommend her: www.boulderbabyphotography.com.

Here are the digital images I purchased. Lily cooperated for the most part, but Stacey did a great job capturing the smiles when they were few and far between!
