How did Chicago get it's name as the windy city? There wasn't any sign of it while we were there last weekend for a wedding. It was upper 70's and perfectly blue skies! We spent some time shopping Michigan Avenue on Friday afternoon. We visited the American Girl Store and I honestly don't understand what the hub-bub is all about. They kind of freak me out a little! Jason's friend, Steve, got married on Saturday. It was an early wedding, so the wedding party spent the afternoon riding around in a trolley site-seeing Chicago. The reception was on the 66th floor of the Sears tower... what a way to show your guests the town!
On Sunday we got to spend the day with my friend, Christa, her husband and new baby boy, Jaden! We went to Brandon's soccer game (he now plays for the Chicago Fire). It was actually really hot out... we were surprised to come back to 50 degree weather in Denver!
